Yashili invested in a NZD220 green field project in New Zealand, site construction work starting in Sept 2013.  

This world-class infant formula manufacturing factory includes milk reception, formulation mixing, evaporation and drying, also dry blending and canning. In the dry blending plant, after careful evaluation, we decided to work with Powder Projects Limited, and time proved that we made the right decision. 

Besides a few smart designs in Powder Projects solution, we also found the team is very cooperative, and delivers on quality and on time, which I believe is very important for a successful project. 

Another thing worthwhile to mention is the openness from Powder Projects, both John and Jeff have the right attitude on the issues we may have, it is not only giving us a clear picture of where we are during the project but also building up the trust between two parties. It has been a good experience working with Powder Projects.

Synlait Blending and Consumer Packaging Facility 

I have known Jeff and John for a few years so have been aware of their capability for some time. Our blending plant has been the first time we have worked on a project with significant scale. 

The resulting product has been above my expectations. The attention to detail in the design has created a safe, efficient process and a plant that is easy to dry clean. 

Jeff was of great service as we trained operators to use the system and tune it on each new powder. 

We are very proud of the facility, and it is a key part of our ability to add value at Synlait.
